Where CoreAxis began.
CoreAxis Peptide was founded on a simple observation: the research peptide supply industry had grown quickly, but it had not grown carefully. As demand for synthetic peptides in laboratory research expanded, a large number of suppliers entered the market with attractive pricing, professional-looking storefronts, and purity claims that were difficult — sometimes impossible — to independently verify. Researchers working in good faith were placing orders based on numbers printed on a label and a PDF that may or may not have been produced by an accredited laboratory.
We started CoreAxis because we believed that the researchers doing serious work deserved a source they could cite in their own documentation. Not just a website that looked credible — an operation that was credible, traceable to a specific batch, a specific lab, a specific analyst, and a specific date. A source whose quality claims could be checked, challenged, and confirmed by anyone with access to the COA library.
The name itself reflects this intent. An axis is a precise reference line — the fixed point from which measurements are taken and results are oriented. The core of any research compound is its verified identity and purity. CoreAxis is the intersection of those two ideas: a fixed, reliable reference point at the center of the research supply chain.
The problem we set out to solve.
The research peptide market has a structural trust problem. The RUO designation — Research Use Only — exists for legitimate regulatory reasons, but it has also created a space where quality oversight is inconsistent. Unlike pharmaceutical manufacturing, which operates under strict GMP guidelines with mandatory documentation, the RUO peptide supply chain has no single enforcing authority requiring third-party testing, batch-specific COAs, or minimum purity thresholds as a condition of sale.
The result is a market where some suppliers do things properly and others do not — and where the surface presentation of both often looks nearly identical. A COA can be fabricated. A purity claim can be inflated. A lot number can be reused across batches. Unless a researcher has the capacity to independently test every compound they receive, they are largely relying on reputation and presentation when choosing a supplier. That is not a good enough standard for scientific work.
We built CoreAxis around the principle that transparency should be the default, not a premium feature. Every report is published. Every lot number is traceable. No request needed.
Our response to this problem was not primarily operational — it was structural. We built the COA library before we launched the catalog. We established lab partnerships before we listed a single product. We set the minimum purity threshold at 99% not because it is what the market expects but because it is the number below which we would not feel comfortable putting our name on a vial. These were founding decisions, not marketing decisions.
Quality
The CAP standard.
Every product in our catalog carries a CAP- prefix in its SKU. This is not a branding convention — it is a quality designation. The CAP standard has three criteria that every compound must meet before it is listed, before it is sold, and on every subsequent batch.
These three criteria are non-negotiable. They apply to every compound in every format — lyophilized, blend, drops, and raws. When a new batch is received from our synthesis partner, it does not enter the catalog until all three criteria are met. This means there are occasionally short gaps in availability for specific products. We consider that a better outcome than shipping unverified material.
Documentation
Transparency as infrastructure.
We think of transparency not as a value statement but as a structural feature of how we operate. The COA library is not a page we built to look credible — it is a page we built because we believe the COA belongs to the researcher, not to the supplier. You ordered the compound. You are running the experiment. You need to know what is in the vial. That information should not require you to email us, log into an account, or trust us at our word.
Every COA in our library is downloadable as a PDF. Every report includes the lot number, test date, analyst name, laboratory accreditation number, HPLC method parameters, observed retention time, purity as area percentage, and mass spectrometry result. Historical lots remain in the library permanently — if you ran a study using lot A2501 and need to revisit the source documentation two years later, it will still be there.
We use two independent laboratory partners: Janoshik Analytical in Brno, Czech Republic — one of the most respected peptide testing laboratories in the world — and Core Research Labs, a US-based ISO/IEC 17025 accredited facility. Using two labs serves a practical purpose: it allows cross-verification on compounds where we have any uncertainty, and it ensures continuity if one partner’s capacity is temporarily constrained.

What we believe.
Building a supply business in the RUO peptide space requires taking positions on questions that some suppliers prefer to leave unanswered. We would rather be clear about where we stand.
We believe purity matters more than price. The research peptide market rewards cheap. We are not trying to compete on price. We are competing on the quality of the documentation behind every product, the reliability of the purity claims, and the speed with which we can get a verified compound from our warehouse to a researcher’s lab. Researchers who need the cheapest available source will find better options elsewhere. Researchers who need a source they can cite in their work will find what they need here.
We believe the COA belongs to the researcher. We did not create the certificate of analysis. The laboratory did. We paid for the testing. But the report documents the quality of the compound the researcher is receiving. It is theirs to have, to scrutinize, and to challenge. If a researcher identifies an inconsistency in a COA we have published, we want to hear about it. That kind of scrutiny makes the whole system work better.
We believe RUO is a real boundary, not a legal formality. The Research Use Only designation exists for good reasons. The compounds we sell are research tools, not treatments. They have not been through clinical trials. Their safety profiles in human subjects are not established. We enforce the RUO boundary not because we are required to but because we would not feel comfortable operating any other way.
Legal & Ethical Framework
Compliance as a core value.
CoreAxis Peptide operates under the Research Use Only framework defined by 21 CFR 809.10(c). Every product in our catalog is labeled accordingly, with lot number, compound identity, concentration, storage conditions, and the RUO designation clearly marked on the vial. We do not sell to individuals who cannot confirm their identity as a qualified researcher. We do not provide guidance on human administration. We do not respond to inquiries that treat our compounds as pharmaceuticals.
We review our compliance posture regularly as regulations and guidance in this space evolve. We maintain records of all sales and are prepared to cooperate fully with any regulatory inquiry. Where we’re going.
CoreAxis Peptide launched with 17 SKUs across five research categories and two product formats. That is intentionally narrow. We chose to build a smaller, fully verified catalog rather than a larger catalog where some products meet our standards and others do not. Every SKU you see in our store has a published COA, a confirmed lot number, and a purity result above 99%. None of them are exceptions.
The catalog will grow. We are currently working through the testing and verification process for a second wave of compounds across the growth factor, cognitive, and longevity categories — including drop formulations of several lyophilized products and additional raw material options for researchers who prefer to work with bulk starting material. Each new product will follow the same process as the first 17: independent testing, published COA, and no listing until the documentation is complete.
